Whoa! Those poppies really pop out at me. It's like there's two different contrasts going on at the same time. The red against the green and the red against the clouds and sky. It's like 3D.

I like the title you have. You could also go with something like "Who Are You?" or "I Know You" or "Hi, Haiku."

Re: Welcome to the New Writings and Art Forum
still too much snow for me so one more painting of poppies (you should see my front yard in the summer!).
this is the painting I donated to the church fund-raiser, using the part of the old steeple as a frame. I am really pleased with the morning sky. I wanted the poppies to represent remembering our vibrant past, but the morning sky showing it's a new day and we move on at the same time.

Wow, that came out great. The painting really goes well with the frame. It's like waking up and looking out the window.

latest one- after a man saw that poppy painting at the fund raiser he told his wife he wanted a poppy painting for his birthday. I've got this one done and am almost finished another so she can choose between them.

Wow, that's beautiful. I love the proportions and perspective, as well as the richness of the colors. Also, I love country scenery. Is that painted from life?
