about Email notifications

Can anyone tell me why I'm not getting email notifications when someone posts over here? I listed it as an I want with the User Control thing-a-ma-gig.

I've activated notifications on my Control Panel; we'll see if it works for me.

Over a month, and STILL nobody's seen to this yet.

It might need an add-on upgraded or something. I'm not sure how it works with phpBB.

There's an update in the making for the board software, I assume our tech admin is waiting for this patch to come out.

On Terran things move slowly including tech stuff.

From July, 2009 til now? That's over 2 years, and no e-mail notifications...does that mean we'll never get them?

There was a new phpBB version released only 2 weeks ago. Maybe that one contains a bugfix? It should be listed in the changelogs at the phpBB website. Maybe someone can look into the matter. (If you have no time, I can do it next Tuesday when there is a public holiday in Germany).

I suspect we're several updates behind at this point. I think the person who would do the updating is not really actively involved with the board at this point.

A lot of people aren't active anymore including owners and most of the tech stuff so not much will change.
People obtained lives, some are just too busy.

If the owners would trust me with the server and database passwords, I could do the upgrade and bugfixes for them.
Who owns Terran atm?
