not really, Santy. Big spiders don't eat very small insects like thse annoying fruit flies. Which is why I always keep a small spider in my kitchen (LOL if my landlady knew she'd get a fit )

Re: Post Every Time You Enter #2
Then the smaller spiders will take care of that.. I've always got an army of spiders..

naah, people are way too poisonous nowadays with all these artificial flavours, colourings, nano particles, micro-fibres, insecticides, herbicides and chemicals our food and clothing contains. No spider with a spark of intelligence would even want to taste a human.

Re: Post Every Time You Enter #2
That's comforting.
Re: Post Every Time You Enter #2
I like having spiders around..I always give them one warning, though...keep out of my sight and you can stay...if I see you...you're DEAD!
I came home one day to find that a spider got herself one really HUGE Yellow-Jacket...I was overjoyed since a bee will send me into heart attack or stroke country. I really hate bees and wasps and hornets so spiders who grab those insects are my dearest friends.

^^ Well, fairly clever phones. Good luck, dr.
Good evening, everybody.
No sun here. Just clouds and chilliness. But I have tomorrow off, so all is good.

Good morning
The storm ceased and it's sunny again but frosty. Unfortunately, the forecast predicts a rainy/snowy Easter but that was to be expected since we had a green Christmas.

Good morning, everyone.
And we start the week off with a Bot.
But I have the day off, so it's back to bed with a book for me.

Re: Post Every Time You Enter #2
I got published! And performed!
Well, okay, only on the Internet, and only in the form of five-minute parodies of a pair of Star Trek fanfic audio episodes, but still! I wrote funny stuff down, and then other people took it and performed it, and then at long last it was made accessible for the public and me in particular to enjoy! They did a pretty good job with it, too!
It's all rather thrilling! If we had the bouncy smiley from KellyzKorner, there would be a bunch in this post! As it is, you will have to be satisfied with this: and then go and listen at the link above. The actual series, as far as I have listened, is also pretty good although obviously more serious.

Good evening, everyone.
Sweet! Congratulations.
Listening now. Which ones did you do?
I rescued him.
This is pretty cool. I'm inspired to work on recording my "Blue Cowl" audio adventure.

Re: Post Every Time You Enter #2
Evening all!
Well my week started at quite a pace, came in prepared for a nice leisurely morning and got hit with a barrage of stuff. This was not in the game plan
I've been away for a while so to give all you nice folkes a brief catch up - I basically work for what feel like a circus. And not the fun kind - the one with half fixed rides and the worst events ever. There's no management, progression, incentive, or general joy about it. They change things so often that none of us really know what our jobs entail day by day, and we're now all so cynical that it's almost embarrasing when new people start and we have to make an effort.
Today was actually a reasonably good day in the office. Unfortunately because I fundamentally don't want to be there any more, it still didn't feel like one. However, I didn't leave feeling defeated or murderous - so I'm chalking it up to a sucess!

^^ It was funny. I have to listen again when I'm not catching up on forums, so I can listen more closely.
Good morning, everybody.
dr, sorry to hear you are so unhappy at work-- I hope you get to run away from the circus soon.

dr ....what RJ said. better days.
Nahtmmm..congrats!
putting finishing touches on my "firepit". Got an email from the Producer of "Cabaret"... seems one of the set painters had to leave for family reasons...I really like her and the Director, so I guess I'll help out. If only my "talents" brought in a steady pay check!

Congrats, Nahtmmm!
Please feel free to borrow any smilie you like from my collection:
http://sdg3.com/lea/posting.php?mode=smilies&f=3
(this offer goes for all board members, of course. Please mind that these smilies are meant for a bright background so that some might not display well on Terran's dark skin)
That's the spirit! I'm not sure what you call that in English - we Germans named it "gallows humour". In my experience it helps you survive almost everything.
Are your bosses the sort you can't reasonably talk with? If they do have a spark of common sense, maybe you and yopur colleagues could talk with them about how these changes and the lack of concept hamper you and keep you from performong well. If you make it plain to them that this way they lose money and workforce, they might get the message.
Curi, congrats on the new job. It sounds both interesting and fun And with such a comperatively big production, you might spark other producers' interest in your work and get more offers and more regular cheques.

^^ You got some mighty big Smilies there.
Good evening, everybody.
Today was a long day. More Comcast troubles. I think everything is really fixed this time, though.
Maybe that can happen, like huggle says, if you get noticed by other producers. You certainly deserve to.
Coincidentally, that's exactly what we call it.
