Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Anthony Head (gets Head - get it now?) has joined the cast of "The Selection" at The CW, according to
The Hollywood Reporter.

He'll play King Clarkson, the monarch of the nation depicted in the series and father of Prince Maxon (Michael Malarkey), who must choose his wife from a group of young women competing for his hand.

nabs lead role in The CW's 'Oxygen' pilot.
Lanter is set to play Roman, the male lead of The CW's "Oxygen," opposite "Friday Night Lights" star Aimee Teegarden.

That's cool. I like ASH. He played a similar role in Merlin and was well suited for it.

Sadly I tried to watch Merlin once or twice but I just could not get into it.
But having him in that role will certainly make it easy to see why everyone is lining up to marry him--Er, I mean the character. *grin*

I thought Merlin was pretty good, but I seldom got to see it because they never put it up on On Demand.
