Speaking of thunderstorms, looks like we're about to get some now. It's very cloudy out and the wind is picking up.

Here it's rather hot but the forecast predicts a temperature drop of about 20°. Figures: Thursday is Fathers' day

I found a perfect ornament for my new office: a frame consisting of 6 fishies. The bellies can be filled with photos. I could even hang several in a group so that I get a whole school of fish.

Yeah, I have a USB that plugs my phone into the computer and I can just swipe the pics off it and adjust them how I want.

Glad you like it RJ, it's not the best one of me, but it's one of how I look most of the time, except I left my hair down. This time of year I keep it in a bun so I stay cooler.

I really need to cut it all off, it's touching my backside and I don't need to be sitting on my hair

I haven't had a haircut in decades. My just stopped growing. Recently, I started to take One-A-Days, and now I'm starting to look like a hippie again.

Am working 2 divisions at once this week: current & former. Key team member on leave in former branch, so I got drafted, while team member in new branch took leave due to various things that meant I wasn't about to refuse. Hence covering both.

my hair grows lengthwise, but every single hair gets thinner and thinner. It's frustrating: when I was a kid I used to have 2 braids. Now all my hair braided together is thinner than one of these braids

If I wear it in a pony tail it looks more like a rat tail. by the time I get pensioned of it'll be a mouse tail, I'm afraid.

Here's little old me without glasses. As you can see my new office is still a building site. I'm waiting for the janitor to help me put up the huge pinboard. The Mondrian painting in the corner is forged by myself, heehee

We got about two minutes of thunderstorms at sunset last night, followed by a nice rainbow.

I'm kind of in the same position, while I'm in training for my new job. It's not stressful at all.

I took this in the waiting room last night. It's not great. I'll do another over the weekend.

It'd be less stressful if we didn't have the auditors in, asking for information from both divisions, whilst I'm trying to keep business as usual processes going, in both divisions.

Oh well - I can take out my frustration on my novel characters. (One of them got injured in the chapter I wrote last night...)

Terran's going slow today...

I spent a two-hour portion of the day going over old-team's processes with someone who's trying to automate them, explaining why they can't easily be automated. His head was quite literally hitting the desk when he realised some of the problems we were encountering.
