Music and driving

#1 Post by Niorah » November 22nd, 2005, 11:38 am

For those of you who drive, what kind of music do you like to listen to when you drive for a short distance?
And for a long distance?

I am partial to rock myself, I enjoy listening to full albums by Pink Floyd, for example, when driving for a long distance, and I like listening to many different things when it's just a short ride, that really depends on my mood, it can be Italian music, or pop or techno...

When I'm on my bike, I generally like to listen to some loud stuff with a good beat. Partially because it keeps me energized and partially because other stuff is inaudible above traffic!

It really depends. For me, it's about countering highway hypnosis. So on longer drives, I tend to listen to CD's I can saing along to. Otherwise, I listen to whatever is on.

All depends what sort of a mood I'm in - if I'm in a good mood, generally something pop-y to have a sing along to, if I'm not in a good mood, it;s normally the radio.
