The harrassing wasn't that bad. One gets used to it. At that time (7 or 8 years ago), someone spawned evil rumours about me and - well, you know how such things usually go - there are always a few fools who believe it. I still get attacked now and then but I never take it serious. (and I daresay the fact that I don't get angry is what angers my opponents most. And that in turn cheers me up enormousely, heehee :p )

Am I right to assume the old Kellyz was a phpBB board, version 2.*? (To my shame I must admit that I never consciousely looked at the copyright when I posted there.)
Having been an admin there, do you by any chance happen to have a backup of the database?
I had the same problem with my boards when my server was upgraded, but by now there is a conversion programme that allows the software to automatically be adapted to the 3.* version which runs smoothly on the upgraded server.
If you have a backup, maybe I can restore the board on my server. I can't promise anything, but I'll give it a try.

We don't have a real tech at the moment so all we can do is keeping this old barge afloat.

wb :)

Can someone show me what the old brown template looked like? A saved thread (html or mht) would be ideal. I could then write a copy for phpBB3 which Santy could install here.
A screenshot would work, too, it'd just be a bit more complicated as I'd have to guess the right colours while in a html or mht they are listed in the source code

Hello, I'm not a new member, but I'm new (sort of, in an old sort of way), so I'm reporting here regardless.

I went ahead and posted an introduction post anyway...but here is my second one! Hello!

I am pretty out of the ordinary, yeah. I once buttered my toast on BOTH SIDES! :? :scared:

Good job you didn't drop it, it wouldn't know which side should face downward! :D

May or may not make it, due to probably needing to get an early night. :( Sorry.

If you put jelly on both sides of your toast and drop it-- how would it know which way to land?
