What are you watching?

#1 Post by Niorah » April 8th, 2006, 9:15 am

Just a free-for-all thread to talk about what you're watching right now, or have just finished watching...

I just watched the season finale of The L Word, I think that this thrid season was much much better than the second one, and I really enjoyed it a lot, every episode made want to come back for more.
The finale left some big plot points open, and now I can't wait for the next season to begin! :D

Just finished watching Broke Back Mountain.
very sad. More like Broken Heart Mountain. :(
Beautiful cinematography, and I'm not surprised Ang Lee (whose movies I love anyway) won an Oscar.

I stick with watching FullMetal Alchemist. Best show on TV since Cowboy Bebop. 8)

I just finished watching My Own Private Idaho.

Keanu Reeves is always nice too look at, but this film was really strange.

The campfire was the best scene, by far. Interestingly, it was written by River Phoenix himself, instead of the guy who wrote the rest of the crap in the movie.

Throughout the movie, I was distracted by Mike's pants. I know he's homeless and trash, but can't he at least make enough money from hustling to buy a pair of pants that were long enough? And his sideburns (or lack thereof) were nasty, too. If I were paying good money for him, I'd make him shave those things off before I took him to bed.

Funny, I thought those sideburns were quite cool... :shifty:

I finally got around to watching The Chronicles of Narnia last night, and I must admit I liked it, the kids were nothing great, but Tilda Swinton was spectacular. 8)

I just finished re-watching Arrested Development season 2. The day that FOX cancelled the show is what I now call 'The day that the sitcom died".

I just finished watching through all 7 seasons of South Park on DVD. Now I have Boston Leagal S1, the first box set of Dinosaurs, and a few more eps of Battlestar Galactica Season 2.0 to watch. Plus, I have V for Vendetta and if I can ever find it, Animaniacs. [/i]

I went to see 'The Departed' on Sunday night. It was actually pretty good, well worth a look.
