*taking notes*

I don't swear much, but nothing beats "fuck" when I'm really pissed off. Love all the vulgar British slang, too.

My most commonly used word is 'fuck', tho more often than not I will say 'feck' instead. Bastard's a close second. I also have a liking for olde English type swearing, hence 'god's teeth', or 'suffering christ'.

I remember going through my university library and finding a book lamenting the fact that the noble art of swearing has devolved into a series of four letter words...

I'd like to find that book again some day.

My swearing vocabulary has grown some lately. While I didn't mention it before, I do use fuck and shit quite often. The new additions to my vocabulary though are "cocksucker", and thanks to George Carlin, "cumcatcher".

Besides the one that I have already mentioned, I guess maybe "porca puttana", and if I need to insult someone I'll probably say "testa di cazzo" (dickhead) or "coglione" (it's a very rude way to say testicle).

Of course swearing is all much better in the original Klingon. :p

Yeah... I don't remember there being much interesting swearing in the Klingon Dictionary. :p

Y'know whenever people complained about Klingon being a made up language I say that at least it gets people interested in languages, but I don't really know...

^Sure sounds like it!

"testa di cazzo"- gonna remember that one. Actually, I didn't need the translation. My brief lessons in Italian (for voice class) paid off!

PWA, it means literally "pig whore", but we use the word porco/porca (pig or pork) in front of other insults to just make them worse. Sometimes it makes for some interesting exclamations, that aren't necessary rude, like porca miseria (pig poverty) or porco cane, which means "pig dog" and doesn't make much sense if you think about it.

Kira's Mom, your Italian must be quite good if you got that right! 8)

I thought pig dogs were dogs that you hunted pigs with?

Wild boars we do have around here... but we never use any exclamation like "pig boar"... :shifty:
