You should never think without an image - Aristotle
We had a good tradition going on over at KK with posting random self made photographs. Seeing how there are so many words in this forum and so little pictures I figured I'd renew that tradition.
I'll start:
yes, slightly photoshopped

The two most abundant things in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity. Data about which one leads the way is still inconclusive.

Both are beautiful, AA.
I'm still in the process of re-uploading my stuff to my new webspace, but here are a couple I took last Sunday. It was my first walk on the beach of the season, and it was a little chillier than I expected, but I got some nice pics of the sunrise and the seagulls. Here are a couple of samples:
I'll go through my stuff and Post more soon.

A couple of the park in my home town - have more, but in half of them I ended up chopping the tops of all the trees off

^^ Thank you. I lucked out, because I used zoom, which is usually the kiss of death for a picture (especially when I'm shivering with the cold ocean breeze); I was surprised at how good it came out.
Better than chopping the heads of people off. Those are great pics; Post more.

*claps hands in delight*
YAY! I love pics!!
GREAT idea for a new thread, AA.
(I may even be inspired to post the odd one myself, now, even though I decidedly NOT a photographer).

Now that's snow
We didn't get nearly as much ... Disappointed me a little actually
Haven't been taking that many pics the last few weeks, but I did take this one of the geeky birthday cake we made for the kiddo:

Beautiful Wintery pics. curi. And I love your park, Grim, especially the bridge. How could you bear to eat that cake, AA?
I'm still working on re-uploading my supply of pictures, but here are some Wintery ones to add to the collection.

*stares at the pretty pictures with longing and something akin to hope*

Here are some from last summer that I already have uploaded. These are from my wanderings in the Blue Hills and include a nice stone tower and shelter that you will like, curi.

Re: You should never think without an image - Aristotle
ahhhhh! green! Thank you, RJ!
yep, by this time of the year, s-word has lost its freshness and is just dreary and grey...
I adore the stonework on those walls. Wonderful textures, shapes and even a variety of colours.
Still have s-word on the front lawn, but it's been raining a bit the last coupla days so hopefully it will melt away soon.

WOW. don't remember that one! Looks like something from Lord of the Rings.
here's a pic of the view from my den/studio from last spring - the quinces are the first shrubs to bloom and I love how the light from outside seems to make them glow in the window...

Spring is trying to start here as well. Snow is finally retreating and the sun is coming out. No pretty flowers yet though.

^ WOW! AA, that is stunning. What a gorgeous panorama... I love the patterns and forms of the architecture!
Rick, the snow stayed cold and wretched until this afternoon - then, warm sun! Thanks for the flowers!
LOL@ you and Chippy eyeing each other.

Heh. I couldn't believe I got that close. I seldom have good luck with animal pictures.
AA, that is fantastic. I love the architecture and the water. I want to walk down and hang out in that gazebo.

Thanks, both It's a great walk over the boulevard, such a great atmosphere all around. Can't say I hate living this close to Stockholm and being able to hop on the train and be there in half an hour.

Re: You should never think without an image - Aristotle
well, I had some lovely deep purple crocuses push their way to the surface, I admired them in the afternoon and thought: "must take a photo of these - the first splash of colour for 2009"
Next day it snowed 27 cms. All schools closed, everything white again.
Everyone up (except skiiers) here is either :
srsly cross and fed up,
wondering if they've been in a coma and missed spring and fall,
or depressed.
what, all my pretties, gone?
