^I would never pay 2 Million to live that close to people. If I'm going to pay millions for a home I don't want anyone within eye shot.

Connie and I drove a mile or so to a rich neighborhood with 2 million dollar homes on a lake. Here we are during our walk around the lake.
Aww, so nice. Are you thinking of moving?

Ditto. I would only pay that much for acres of woodlands.

Beautiful. I wish I could get moon shots like that.

I can do trees, though:

Lupy, you are assigned the task of being photographed with Yoda so that we can start a ReNexters With Yoda thread

Also, I loved your desert flower pics -- fabulous!

And RJ, I loved your trees, and yes, great catch with the bird in flight amidst the trees

Whoaaaa, cool. I mean, it's not exactly a bust of Pallas, but they're young.

Great pics.

I forgot to say that I saw bald eagles soaring above the James River yesterday. I really needed my good camera handy.

Some photos from my stroll here in Beaufort today. There are alligators in these ponds but I didn't see any today.

Very beautiful. I love that Southern-style mansion. I wouldn't mind winning that in a lottery. And I think that must be Spanish moss on the trees.

It's the ones that you don't see that you have to watch out for.

That's true. Someone here told us that small dogs, including several chihuahuas, were eaten by gators near these ponds we walked by.

I have a bad feeling the residents keep chihuahuas as distractions so they can escape when the alligators attack.

You can buy Praying Mantis eggs and hatch them? That's fantastic. Is that because they eat other bugs?

They eat other bugs but mostly, like Scotty said, they're fascinating insects. The only bug that will look you in the eye.
