The group of friends from the camper are having a Daytona 500 party next Sunday. If the weather is decent, I might go.

Daytona 500 tomorrow!!
Today in the Nationwide race, Danica Patrick crashed on lap 68. They were crashing around her and she didn't have anywhere to go. She handles that big ole car pretty well.

It was amazing to watch Earnhardt Jr. go from tenth to second place within one lap.

All the guys from my group of friends from the camper are going to Michigan for the race on June 13. They called me last night to see if Ron wanted to go. He doesn't really like NASCAR. I want to go, but it is a guys only trip. Surprisingly, he is going.

I've been to one race. Now I can say I've been. It was a lot of fun but I thought it was expensive. Even my sister and her husband have given up their tickets.

It was. And now I can say I've been. That was the race where I got Bill Elliott's autograph. Or should I say one of the workers got it for me because I did something nice that she didn't think anyone would do. In the handica;;ed seating, you sit where ever so first come get the decent seats. Dennis and i were already there when the worker came up showing another family and Dennis and I moved so that they could all sit together. The woman practically kissed my feet. I didn't think it was any biggie....

It's sad that in this day and age, people aren't used to simple courtesy and kindness. Very few people nowadays have the decency to do the same as you and your son.
We are going to watch the race today at my friend's house. I guess you can say it will be a party.
